1. What Cookies Are

Cookies are small files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, tags, SDKs, and device identifiers.

2. Why We Use Cookies

MotionLab uses essential browser storage and, only after you opt in, optional analytics:

• Essential Functions: Needed for the Service to work, including login, authentication, account sessions, security, payments, dashboard access, and fraud prevention.
• Preferences: Used to remember settings such as interface preferences, language, selected options, or dismissed notices.
• Service Diagnostics: Server-side operational and security records help us diagnose errors, protect accounts, and process the services you request. Rejecting optional analytics does not turn off these necessary service records.
• Optional Analytics: After you accept analytics, we measure visits, presence, referral sources, partner-page interactions, and attempts to purchase credits when purchases are unavailable. MotionLab uses a random first-party visitor cookie and stores its one-way hash, the first landing path measured after consent without its query string, the referring hostname without the full referring URL, and bounded campaign labels when present. Visitor and unavailable-purchase records can be linked to your account when signed in. The visitor record does not store the raw cookie value, IP address, or user-agent. We do not collect or replay earlier interactions while analytics is off.
• Payments and Security: Payment processors, authentication providers, and security tools may use cookies or similar technologies to process transactions, prevent fraud, and secure accounts.

3. Third-Party Cookies

Clerk authentication and payment services may use storage needed for sign-in, account security, and checkout. These requested services remain available when you reject analytics. MotionLab currently uses its own optional analytics; this control does not enable an advertising tracker. See our subprocessor information for service providers.

4. Managing Cookies

Use Accept all, Reject optional, or Cookie settings in the banner. Optional analytics is off until you accept it. Closing settings without saving does not grant consent. You can reopen Cookie settings from the footer or the button on this page at any time. Your choice applies to this browser on this site and is remembered for 180 days, after which we ask again. Clearing the choice or changing devices also means we ask again.

Withdrawing consent stops future analytics and removes the visitor cookie and analytics session storage. It does not erase previously recorded data; contact us through the Privacy Policy to request deletion. Your login, checkout state, and editor drafts are preserved. If cookie storage is blocked, analytics stays off unless a valid saved consent remains; the interface reports when a choice cannot be saved.

Routine server cleanup targets visitor analytics after 180 days of inactivity. Browser storage duration and server record retention are separate. Browser settings also let you remove storage, but deleting essential storage may sign you out or remove unsaved editor work.

5. Changes

MotionLab may update this Cookie Policy from time to time.
