Privacy Policy

This policy covers MotionLab website visitors, account holders, creators, support contacts, and users of our API and connected tools. MotionLab determines how account, service-operation, and support information is used. You can reach us at support@motionlab.art.

If you use MotionLab through a business, an Enterprise integration, or an independent AI assistant, that organization or application may also process your information under its own policy. A separate data-processing agreement, where agreed, may govern information processed on a business customer's instructions.

• Account information: name, email, authentication identifiers provided through Clerk, profile details, preferences, and account activity.
• Creative inputs: prompts, chat messages, images, video, audio, music references, and other files or context you submit for processing.
• Projects and outputs: Timeline project data, Motion Studio conversations and generated code, compositions, exports, generation settings, selected models, output files, previews, and job records.
• Billing: credit transactions, purchases, subscription status, invoices, payment references, and limited billing details received from Dodo Payments. Payment card details are collected by the checkout provider; MotionLab does not store full card numbers.
• Connected tools: application identifiers, permissions you approve, credential verification records, connection and revocation records, API usage, and configured webhook destinations.
• Usage and security: requests, timestamps, errors, diagnostic events, and device or network information used for service operation and abuse prevention. Our first-party visitor analytics stores a hashed random visitor identifier and limited attribution information, not an IP address or user-agent in the analytics record.
• Communications: contact-form submissions, emails, support history, and information you provide in a business or rights inquiry.

We use information to sign you in; process requests and uploads; generate, edit, store, and deliver work; save projects; manage credits, subscriptions, invoices, and refunds; support connected tools; respond to requests; understand product use; and detect failures, fraud, abuse, or security incidents. We also use it for legal obligations and important service notices, including changes or closure.

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, the basis depends on the purpose:

• Providing a requested service: performing our contract with you, including account access, generation, billing, and support.
• Security and service improvement: our legitimate interests in preventing abuse and maintaining the service, balanced against your rights.
• Required records and requests: compliance with applicable legal obligations.
• Optional uses that require consent: your consent, which can be withdrawn for future processing.

Some information is necessary to provide the feature you request. If you choose not to supply it, that feature may be unavailable. Contact us if you need more detail about the basis for a particular use.

To perform your request, we send the relevant prompt, input files or accessible media links, settings, and context to the infrastructure or model provider used for that feature. Routing may depend on the selected model, availability, and supported fallback paths. Not every provider receives every request.

• Creative processing: RunPod, fal.ai, and Kie AI, and the underlying model operators involved in the selected route, process video, image, audio, 3D, or enhancement requests as applicable.
• Chat and safety: Groq, NVIDIA-hosted APIs, and OpenRouter may process prompts, chat context, code, or supported media for Motion Studio, prompt tools, and safety checks. OpenRouter can route requests to model operators such as Anthropic.
• Service operation: Clerk provides authentication; Dodo Payments handles payments; Railway hosts application services and databases; Cloudflare provides storage and delivery; Pusher provides realtime updates; and Resend routes email.
• Browser resources: editors may load libraries from esm.sh and jsDelivr. These services receive the network information associated with your browser's request for those resources.

See our Service Providers page for details. Providers may retain information under the terms and settings applicable to their services. We do not promise zero retention or identical processing terms across all models.

MotionLab does not use private uploaded assets or private generated outputs to train public AI models without separate, explicit consent. This statement concerns MotionLab's own use; it is not a blanket promise about every external provider. Review the provider information before submitting material that requires special confidentiality or processing terms.

Your work is not automatically listed in the public Community gallery. Account-library visibility and file-link access are different: some media is delivered through URLs that can be accessed by anyone who has the link. A private library entry is not a guarantee that every media request requires sign-in. Avoid sharing media links you want to keep restricted.

Publications and sharing depend on the controls and permissions available to your account. Public pages can include the output, a prompt or description, and permitted creator information. Publishing an output does not publish its source uploads as separate community attachments, but an output may reveal recognizable details from them.

Public content can be indexed, embedded, cached, or copied. We cannot recall third-party copies after removal. See Uploaded Assets Privacy for more information.

When you authorize a connected app, it can receive information and act within the permissions you approve. This can include your balance, capabilities, job history, prompts, and output links, as well as submitting paid generations. API webhook destinations receive the job information enabled for that integration.

Revoke an app connection or API key through the available account controls if you no longer want future access. Data already received by that app remains subject to its own retention and privacy practices. Contact its operator to request deletion there; revoking access in MotionLab does not delete those copies.

Authentication, security, preferences, editor state, and payment features use cookies or similar browser storage. We also use a first-party visitor cookie for usage measurement and initial referral attribution. See the Cookie Policy for what is recorded.

Optional visitor, partner-interaction, and unavailable-purchase analytics runs only after you opt in through our cookie controls. These records can be linked to your account when signed in. Use Cookie settings at any time to reject analytics or withdraw consent for future measurement. Your choice is remembered for 180 days. Withdrawal removes the analytics cookie and session storage without clearing login, checkout, or editor work; it does not erase historical records. You can also manage browser storage directly, but blocking required storage may prevent sign-in or checkout and clearing editor data can remove unsaved work.

We do not sell your personal data. Alongside the processing described above, we may disclose information when needed to comply with law, respond to a valid legal request, investigate fraud or abuse, protect people or the service, or establish and defend legal claims.

Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, or transfer of the business, subject to applicable law and appropriate notice. Independent payment services, connected applications, and public platforms may act under their own privacy policies.

Download and keep your own copies of important work. MotionLab is a creative service, not a permanent archive. Saving a project or exporting an output to your account does not guarantee that its media will be stored indefinitely.

• Website generations and exports: completed and other finished jobs that are not marked as favorites are eligible for automatic deletion 30 days after creation. This includes Timeline and Motion Studio exports. Failed jobs that are not favorites are eligible for deletion three days after their last status change.
• Favorites: marking a job as a favorite excludes it from routine job cleanup while it remains favorited. This does not override your deletion request, policy enforcement, or service closure.
• Enterprise API: download outputs before the expiry returned with the job. API media can expire independently of website retention; job and billing records may remain after media deletion.

Temporary uploads and unused project assets may be cleaned up separately. Removing an item from your library can precede deletion of its stored files; cleanup may take additional time or retry after a storage error.

Routine cleanup also targets first-party visitor analytics after 180 days of inactivity, API usage diagnostics after 180 days, and API webhook delivery records after 90 days. These schedules do not mean every support, security, account, or billing record is deleted at the same time.

Account and saved-project information is retained as needed to operate your account or until an applicable deletion request is completed. Billing, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute, and legal records may need to be kept longer. Backup and service-provider copies may remain for their applicable retention periods.

Request account or personal-data deletion through support@motionlab.art. Removing your sign-in profile alone does not guarantee immediate deletion of all media, payment, or support records. We will assess the request, verify it where necessary, and explain any information we must retain.

If MotionLab closes, we will explain the download window and data-request contact in the closure notice. After the applicable window, data no longer needed will be deleted or de-identified, subject to required legal, billing, dispute, and backup retention.

We use access controls, credential protections, and other safeguards to protect service data. No internet service or storage system is completely secure. Protect your account, connected apps, and media links, and do not submit passwords, payment card numbers, or unnecessary sensitive information in prompts or support messages.

MotionLab and its providers may process information outside your country, including in Israel, the United States, and other provider locations. Data-protection rules may differ. Where a transfer requires legal safeguards, those requirements apply; use of the service is not a waiver of your rights. Contact us for information about the providers and safeguards relevant to your use.

Depending on the law that applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, or a portable copy of personal data; restriction of certain processing; or an objection to processing based on legitimate interests. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.

Email support@motionlab.art with your account email and the request you want us to handle. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity or authority; do not send identity documents unless we request them through an appropriate channel. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and explain any permitted extension or refusal.

You may also complain to the data-protection authority where you live or work, or where you believe a violation occurred. Exercising an applicable privacy right does not require buying a plan. For a safety or account restriction you believe is mistaken, contact support for review.

MotionLab is not directed to children below the minimum age required by applicable law. Do not submit children's personal information unless you have the legal authority and consents required for the intended processing and the content is permitted by our policies. If you believe a child has provided information improperly, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

We will update the date on this page when the policy changes. We will notify affected users of material changes through email or a prominent service notice, and obtain consent where required. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to support@motionlab.art or our contact form.
