Privacy Policy
Effective Date: July 8, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how MotionLab collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use our websites, applications, generation tools, uploads, outputs, community features, payments, and related services.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of information to provide and secure our Service:
- Account Information: This may include your name, email address, authentication identifiers (facilitated via Clerk), profile information, account settings, login activity, and related account metadata.
- Billing and Transaction Information: Payments are processed by LemonSqueezy. We receive transaction identifiers, purchase history, credit purchases, plan limits, payment status, and limited billing metadata. We do not intentionally store full payment card numbers.
- Generation Information: This includes prompts, aspect ratios, generation settings, selected models, duration, resolution, seed values, reference settings, processing logs, error messages, and output records.
- Chat and Conversational Content: Messages you send to chat-based tools such as Motion Studio, lightweight attachment context you include with them, generated responses and code, and related usage counters.
- Uploaded Assets: Images, videos, masks, 3D files, project materials, style references, or other files you submit to MotionLab to run AI generation workflows.
- Outputs: Generated images, videos, 3D assets, thumbnails, previews, public share pages, community posts, and related metadata.
- Usage and Device Information: IP addresses, browser types, device types, page visits, durations, logs, crash reports, diagnostics, and security events.
- Communications: Messages, email addresses, attachments, support history, and related metadata when you contact us.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- provide, operate, secure, and improve MotionLab;
- authenticate users and manage secure sessions;
- process uploads, prompts, generations, edits, renders, and downloads;
- operate credit balances, ledgers, billing, refunds, and purchase history;
- display dashboards, share pages, community features, and output history;
- provide support and respond to support tickets;
- detect abuse, fraud, policy violations, security incidents, and technical failures;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
We do not use private uploaded assets or private generated outputs to train public AI models unless we clearly disclose this and obtain your explicit consent.
3. AI Processing and Providers
To provide the Service, MotionLab may process prompts, uploaded assets, settings, and outputs through internal systems, GPU infrastructure, AI model providers, cloud storage, queue systems, and other subprocessors.
Depending on the selected tool or workflow, your Inputs and Outputs may be sent to third-party AI or infrastructure providers only as needed to provide the requested generation, edit, render, storage, delivery, or related functionality.
Chat messages sent to chat-based tools (such as Motion Studio) and prompt-helper requests are processed by third-party language model providers — currently including Groq, NVIDIA-hosted model APIs, and OpenRouter, which routes requests to the underlying model operator (for example, Anthropic for Claude models) — only as needed to generate the requested response.
4. Uploaded Assets and Outputs
Private uploaded assets and private outputs are intended to remain private unless you choose to publish, share, or make them public. MotionLab stores uploaded assets and outputs to provide account history, downloads, retries, community pages, support, abuse prevention, and service reliability.
If you publish or share an output publicly (e.g. through the Community gallery or direct sharing), it may be visible to others, indexed by search engines, cached, or copied by third parties. See our Uploaded Assets and Privacy page for details.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We and our service providers may use cookies, local storage, session tokens, and similar technologies for authentication, sessions, security, preferences, payments, analytics, performance, and abuse prevention.
You can control cookies through browser settings, but disabling required cookies may prevent parts of the Service from working. For details, see our Cookie Policy.
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with:
- Service Providers and Subprocessors: For Clerk authentication, LemonSqueezy payments and subscriptions, Railway hosting, Cloudflare storage and CDN, RunPod GPU compute, fal.ai rendering, Groq and NVIDIA language model processing, OpenRouter model routing, Pusher realtime sync, Resend email routing, and logging. For lists of these platforms, see our Subprocessors page.
- Legal and Safety Purposes: To comply with laws, enforce our Terms, prevent fraud, or protect the rights, property, or safety of MotionLab, our users, or others.
- Business Transfers: As part of a merger, acquisition, financing, asset sale, or corporate reorganization.
7. Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service, maintain account history, operate billing and credit ledgers, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain backup systems.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures designed to protect information. However, no internet-based system is 100% secure. You are responsible for securing your account credentials and limiting access to your device.
9. International Processing
MotionLab and its providers process and store information globally. By using the Service, you understand that information may be transferred to and processed outside your country of residence, including to the United States and Israel.
10. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing of personal information. You may request account or data deletion at any time by contacting us through the support channel or at support@motionlab.art.
11. Children
MotionLab is not intended for children under the age required by applicable law. Users must not submit personal information about children or create prohibited content involving minors.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we may provide notice through the Service, email, or another reasonable method.
13. Contact
For privacy questions, contact MotionLab through the contact information provided on the website or email us at contact form.
