Frames with readable depth animate best: a foreground element, a subject, and a background that can parallax apart. Flat graphics and tight crops leave the model nothing to move except the subject itself — which is where warping starts.

Turn a still into a seamless loop

How do I stop faces and logos from warping?
Keep the camera move small and slow, say explicitly that the face or logo must stay stable, and avoid moves that push it to the frame edge. If it still drifts, generate a calmer take — a subtle move that holds is worth more than a dramatic one that melts.
What kind of image works best as a source?
A clear subject, visible depth layers, and negative space. High-resolution stills with clean edges animate better than busy or low-contrast frames. Generated images from an AI image tool work exactly like uploaded photos or renders.
What aspect ratio will the video be?
MotionLab reads the source image and matches it to 16:9, 9:16, or 1:1 — a landscape frame becomes a landscape clip. Compose the still at the ratio you need delivered.
Can I turn a still into a seamless loop?
Yes — switch Loop on before you render. MotionLab brings the clip back to its opening frame and trims the duplicate closing frame, so the loop comes out of the generator instead of out of an editor. Prompt for cyclical motion — drifting fog, rotating elements, breathing light — and keep the camera locked or at constant speed; those takes loop most convincingly. Loop needs a start image and cannot be combined with an End image, and every Loop render is seam-checked so a visible join is flagged.
