How to use Seedream on MotionLab
- Sign in and open the image creation page.
- Choose a Seedream variant in the model picker. Only the variants listed above are shown.
- Write your prompt, add reference images if you are editing, and pick the size and aspect ratio.
- Check the credit cost shown for your settings, then generate. Failed jobs are refunded automatically.
- Download the image, or send it to the video page as a start frame.
Seedream prompt tips
- Describe medium and finish (photo, 3D render, ink illustration) early in the prompt.
- Use the lighter tier to explore composition, then render the keeper on Pro.
- Give reference images for faces or products you need to repeat.
- Pick the final aspect ratio first so composition is built for it.

What is the difference between Seedream Lite and Pro?
Lite is the lighter, lower-cost tier; Pro is the higher-fidelity tier. Only the tiers currently enabled appear in the specs table.
How much does Seedream cost on MotionLab?
Seedream generations spend MotionLab credits from the same wallet used by every model on the site. The credit cost for your exact settings is shown before you generate, and a job that fails is refunded automatically. Credit packs are listed on the pricing page.
Do I need a separate Seedream account or API key?
No. MotionLab runs Seedream for you: sign in, pick the model in the create page and generate. Your results are saved to your MotionLab library next to work from every other model.
Can I animate Seedream images?
Yes. Any image in your library can become the start frame for an image-to-video model on MotionLab.
